Rancid - ...And Out Come The Wolves

Way back in the day my friend Eddie introduced me to a band called Rancid. He made me a copy of their third and most successful album "...And Out Come The Wolves". I was really blown away by this album how for an album with 19 songs could have not 1 song that wasn't great. Definitely one of the best punk rock albums of all time Rancid really brings a mix of fun, culture, drinking and love in a new and exciting way with each song. From "Roots Radicals", "Time Bomb" and "Ruby Soho" to "Old Friend", "Avenues & Alleyways", "Olympia Washington", "Journey to the End of the East Bay" and "The Wars End"co-singers and guitarists Tim Armstrong and Lars Fredrickson deliver stories of things like kids who came from a rough side of town, love gone wrong and kids whose parents think their music is just noise and they do it so well.

If you are into punk rock and never heard this band I highly suggest you go out and get this album. I can remember seeing Rancid at the Tibbetan Freedom Concert in 1997 and it was the best 1/2 hour I had ever experienced. So much energy and so much passion will make fans of any genre of music get into this album.

Album Quote:

"He's a different color but were the same kid, I'll treat him like my brother he'll treat me like his"
