Ozzy Osbourne - Ozzmosis
In June1996 I went to my second concert ever. It was Ozzy Osbourne on the Retirement Sucks Tour. That was 10 years ago. The first album I ever had from Ozzy was his 1996 release Ozzmosis. This is a great and often forgotten about record from the Ozzman. However its one of his most interesting to listen to sonically as well as musically. Ozzy's guitar player Zakk Wylde plays some tremendous & heavy riffs on this record. You can find this on tracks such as "Thunder Underground" & "My Jekkyl Doesn't Hide". Some of the more well known tracks are "Perry Mason " (great song), "I Just Want You" and "See You On The Other Side". The album ends with a great ballad called " Old LA Tonight". A great song about trying to find who you are in life. That summer I started my first job and was pretty nervous. For some reason this song was stuck in my head all day that day. It definilty made me feel better. Overall I highly recommend this album for all fans of Ozzy's music. It is an album I remember very much from my youth.
Album Quote:
"Though I know we must be parted as sure as stars are in the sky, I'm gonna see you when it comes to glory, see you on the other side"
