Foo Fighters - The Color & The Shape

After the unfortunate ending of Nirvana, Drummer Dave Grohl formed a new band the Foo Fighters. Their debut album was a huge success. In 1997 they released their sophomore album "The Color & The Shape". This album was an even bigger success then their first record. It hit rock radio with the first single "Monkey Wrench". The song became another huge hit for the band. This sparked a srting of hit songs from the album like "Everlong"which is probably the bands biggest hit song to date. Other big hits included "My Hero", "Hey Johnny Park" and "February Stars". My favorite track that is included on the remastered bonus track version of the album is the cover of the song "Baker Street" which I would go as far to say that it is one of the best cover songs ever. If anything this album reminds me once again of that summer in between high school and my first semester of college. THose were really some of the best times in my life.

Album Quote:

"I'm hanging on
here until I'm gone
I'm right where I belong
just hanging on
even though I watched you come and go
how was I to know
you'd steal the show?"
