Stone Temple Pilots - Purple
In 1994, one of the biggest bands of the grunge era Stone Temple Pilots released the album "Purple". A melodic heavy dose of straight out rock this album really made this band who they are. The album is known for many songs that can still be heard on rock radio stations today. Songs like "Interstate Love Song". A great laid back song for just hanging around and doing nothing. "Vasoline" is another great and very popular song as well as "Big Empty" a ballad also found on the soundtrack to the movie "The Crow". Other great tracks are "Lounge Fly", "Pretty Penny", "Silvergun Superman" and "Unglued". Overall this album is a true staple of the grunge alternative era and most of it's tracks are still being discovered by young ears today thanks to rock radio.
Album Quote:
""How far will you go I say just to bait a mouse?"
