Ozzy Osbourne - Blizzard of Oz

In 1981, sometime after being booted from Black Sabbath, Ozzy released his first solo album "Blizzard of Oz". I first discovered this album in 1995 while still in high school and I was really into all the great songs on this album. Everyone knows the classic hit "Crazy Train" which is a great song and so much fun to see Ozzy perform live. The album also contains the very controversial song "Suicide Solution" which despite what many critics think is ANTI-suicide and was not the cause of some suicides in the 80's or ever for that matter. Other tracks such as
"I Don't Know", "Good-bye to Romance", "Revelation Mother Earth" and "Mr. Crowly" are all great tracks. This album of course was also the introduction to the world of the late guitarist Randy Rhodes. Randy was a brilliant guitar player and its a shame he was taken so early in life.
Overall I am glad I this album is as good as it is otherwise I may not have been into such an awesome artist as Ozzy himself.

Album Quote:

"Mother please forgive them
For they know not what they do
Looking back in history's books
It seems it's nothing new
Oh, let my mother live"
