Beastie Boys - Licensed to Ill

This album is much different from my usual reviews with the exception that the Beastie Boys are a rap group liked by fans of all different types of music. This album was ground breaking as they were the first white rappers to make it big. Everyone knows the hit single "Fight for your Right to Party" and who could forget the great video on MTV as well. Being originally from Brooklyn the track "No Sleep Til Brooklyn" was always a favorite of mine. The band is known for doing many samples on this album from bands such as Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. Other great and memorable tracks are "Brass Monkey, "Paul Rivere", Hold It Now, Hit It", "She's Crafty", "Girls", "Slow & Low" and "Time To Get Ill. There is definitely not one bad song on this album. Everyone should own this record as it is truly a classic in music and it will bring back a lot of great memories as well.

Aerosmith - Get a Grip

I can remember being in the 8th grade when this album came out. It would be Aerosmith's biggest album to this very day. The video's would feature a hot young new actress named Alicia Silverstone and would be all over MTV and the radio. This album contains well known hits like "Cry'in", "Liv'in on the Edge", "Amazing" and "Eat the Rich". One song not know too well is "Shut Up and Dance". This is the song Aerosmith plays at the end of Wayne's World 2. This was a great record that like I said really was a major part of my generation. I've become speechless to all the memories the songs conjure. Thats all I got to say. Good stuff.

White Zombie - Astro-Creep:2000

What I am about to review is one of the most different albums from my generation, White Zombie's "Astro-Creep:2000". A great band fronted by the still famous Rob Zombie and they became famous thanks to non other than Beavis & Butthead. This album is mainly known for its fearce rock tracks of an alternative style. The first hit single was "More Human Than Human". My most favorite track is "Supercharger Heaven" a real heavy song. Other great tracks include "Electric Head" (parts 1 and 2) and "Blood, Milk & Sky". I definitely recommend this album. Its reminds me of the new music movements of 1994 and 1995. I remember listening to this album on the way to play a lacrosse game and it getting me super pumped up and I ended up playing my best game. Many rock stations still play this album to this day.

Space thing blues diamond studded - sugar coated
